2 identical terracotta vases, 2 identical plants (Dypsis lutescens)
Each approx. 130 x 100 x 60 cm
The work consists of two identical terracotta vases containing two identical indoor plants. Crafted with a process similar to those of mass production, just like the plants they house, these vases with the artist’s portrait on the bottom link the concepts of repetition and individuality, opening up doubts and questions about collective and individual, public and private identity.
This work was awarded the Prize Carapelli for Art Academy category in 2022.
