Wax, Pinhole paper negative contact prints on baryta paper
This project consist in a series of claustrophobic rendering-like views. These exist in two- and tridimensional form: built inside wax boxes and depicted in analoge photographs realized with experimental DIY processes.
These claustrophobic landscapes aim to reflect on repetition, standardization and bureaucratization of life and time and are inspired by contemporary urban architecture complexes being built in the outskirts of big cities in Europe often celebrated as innovative in terms of social impact but in fact rather uncanny and subdued to consumeristic and neoliberal logics.
